About Psyche
200 years ago the three Areas once lived in harmony with each other, until all hell broke loose when Viruses began to pour out of Area Shadow. Viruses are phenomenal beings that feed off people’s crimson butterflies, which is also known as the human soul.
To stop the damage and contamination, Area Sky and Earth joined forces and isolated Area Shadow. Thus, the civillians of Area Shadow has been living in constant pain and fear of the viruses. Half the population has been slaughtered or contaminated and turned into Demis (Half Viruses).
The oracle of Area Shadow was felt so betrayed and angered that before he died, he conjured all his hate and powers into a prophecy. The prophecy stated that a child from Area Shadow will inherit his power and completely unleash the viruses into chaos as revenge. However, Area Sky and Earth interfered with the prophecy when the head priest of AS and AE also created a prophecy. The 2nd prophecy stated that two childeren from AS and AE will have the ability to stop the 1st prophecy from coming true
Butterfly Theory
In Psyche, the human energy, life and soul is symbolized as butterflies. The blue butterfly appears when a person releases spiritual energy, black butterfly symbolizes a person is dying and the crimson butterfly represents the person's soul.
